Classic car display in the High Street
Imagine the scene, 80 classic cars on display either side of our historic High Street for the second Guildford Lions Classic Car Display.
The High Street will be closed to other traffic for the event on Sunday 13th April and on display will be a variety of cars from well known makes of European and American cars, some competition cars plus some other rather special vehicles. If last year’s event is a guide it will be a popular event for car owners, petrol heads, and the general public.
We are still looking for other cars, owners of pre1983 cars can register their interest at guildfordlions.com. More modern cars may be accepted if they are exceptional in some way (ie competition, expedition, super, or hyper cars).
The display will last from 10.00am – 4.00pm and is free to the public. Programmes with details of all the cars will be on sale and we plan a raffle with some interesting prizes.
